The good news is that solid walls are generally very well suited for various types of shelves, including floating wall display shelves. Our selection of floating shelves offers strength and stability, ideal for supporting household items and decor. They come with sturdy concealed brackets, offering a sleek, minimalist floating look without compromising the overall support. 

Our solid wall fixings also include heavy-duty brackets with lipped and unlipped designs for a more industrial, classic appearance. All of our wall mounted shelves have a strong load capacity, with our robust fixings supporting up to 35kg of weight, including the shelf’s own weight.

Rustic Steel Bracket Shelves: Handmade from kiln-dried European oak, our rustic bracket shelves come with a pair of raw steel brackets in lipped or unlipped designs, blending an industrial style with long-lasting support. 

Solid Oak Shelves: Oak offers a rich, natural character, providing strength and durability that suits both traditional and modern decors. 

Pine Shelves: The warm charm of pine makes it a popular choice for any space, from the kitchen to the bathroom.

From brick shelves to plasterboard shelving, each product is available in standard sizing. But, if you can’t find the exact size you’re looking for, we offer a bespoke made-to-measure service, allowing you to get the perfect size for even the trickiest of spaces.

Fixings and Installation

Our shelves for brick wall surfaces and other solid wall types come with heavy-duty brackets, in either concealed or exposed bracket designs. Our concealed bracket systems create a sleek, floating appearance and are easy to install with our informative installation guides. Two or more fixings (longer shelves may require more brackets) are fitted into solid brick or block walls, with each shelf supporting up to 35kg (including the shelf itself). 

Please note that our solid wall shelves are not suitable for plasterboard walls. Our collection of plasterboard wall shelves is specially designed with fixings that suit lighter wall types.

Valuing Sustainability and Craftsmanship 

We handcraft all our shelves in our North Yorkshire workshop using solid timber sustainably sourced from FSC/PEFC-certified forests. Our zero-waste workshop ensures all offcuts are recycled, reused, or repurposed, while sawdust and wood waste are used for biomass heating, helping minimise our environmental impact. 

What’s more, for every £50 spent, we plant a new tree, helping promote sustainable forestry.
