Holzöl Worktop-Oil is a food safe fast drying natural oil with a pleasant bouquet, designed to penetrate solid wood worktops and kitchen / bathroom surfaces.
A brilliant trade quality finish, solvent based worktop oil. Enhancing the beautiful and natural features of the wood. The oil will provide a scratch and stain resistant finish.
Oil is suitable to maintain and repair your timber at home easily.
The oil is food and child safe when dry making it perfect for many uses including chopping boards, worktops, table tops, butcher blocks and other surfaces requiring protection.
It conforms to EN71-3: 2013 and does not release any potentially harmful hazardous substances.

HOW TO USE
1. The surfaces of the timber to be coated should be clean, dry and free from oils, greases, waxes, silicones, old finishes etc.
2. Use a brush or rag apply an even film of worktop oil to the surface and work it into the grain.
3. Make sure any excess is wiped off.
4. Wait 6-8 hours for the first coat to dry.
5. Lightly abrade with 220/240 silicon carbide abrasive.
6. Apply another coat as above.
7. Wait 12 hours to fully dry.
MAINTENANCE
Clean surfaces using a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Please Note: Oiled worktops and other surfaces should not be cleaned with copious amounts of hot or cold water. Avoid using household detergents and cleaners as these may degrade or breakdown the oiled finish.
If the finish becomes “tired” looking or damaged, abrade with 240/320 silicon carbide abrasive and apply a further coat of holzöl Worktop-Oil.
