These Rustic Shelves are suitable to install on plasterboard walls. We make these Rustic shelves from the finest quality FSC Certified kiln dried Scandinavian redwood, each shelf goes through our carefully developed 10 stage manufacturing process. We're confident that these shelves are the best about which is why we offer a lifetime guarantee!
We are offering a truly comprehensive range of colour options using industry leading wood stains which penetrate deep into the woods surface providing a superior depth of colour. A top coat of beeswax offers a water resistant finish up to 30 minutes. Our unique and vibrant colour range can create an industrial shelf for any setting.

WHY BUY FROM US?
With our rustic floating shelves you can sometimes expect very minor cracks and knots and a few saw marks, only very minor cupping is acceptable. Although each piece is unique it is much more consistent than our oak fireplace beam range. Placing shelves near heat sources may cause movement.
SUSTAINABILITY
We always use redwood sourced from sustainably managed forests who are FSC or PEFC certified. We also plant 1 tree for every £50 spent with us. For our redwood shelves, this equates to planting on average 40 trees for every 1 used.

OTHER DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Redwood is a natural product, therefore knots, colour, grain pattern and other distinguishing features can vary. Each shelf is completely unique!
SIZE TOLERANCE
We work to a tolerance of +/- 5mm. If you need a length smaller than a standard size, please order the next length up and leave a note in checkout to cut it down. Please note, this will make the item non-returnable. Need something more bespoke? Get in touch for a quote.
WEIGHT TOLERANCE
Our solid wall concealed fixings have the capacity to hold up to 35kg of weight between 2 fixings. This includes the weight of the shelf. Longer lengths come with more fixings. Our concealed plasterboard fixings are suitable for plasterboard between 9-15mm thick - 2 fixings (2 T brackets and 4 Gripit fixings) can hold up to 20kg of weight including the weight of the shelf. Our rustic metal brackets can hold approximately up to 30kg between 2 brackets including the weight of the shelf. This is a guide only - condition of the wall, shelf placement, weight distribution and shelf depth all affect the weight capacity.

Everything we manufacturer is professionally finished in-house using only the finest products. We achieve this fantastic range with wood stains which penetrate deep into the wood followed by a top coat of wax polish for protection.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee exact colour matches to existing furniture. Please use these colour samples as a guide only, as oak is a natural product colour variation can be expected.

To order a bespoke length, please order the next length up and leave a note in checkout to cut down to your required length. For more bespoke alterations please send us a message and we will be happy to provide and accurate quote. Bespoke request will make the item non-returnable.
Yes all of our shelves come with fixings for either solid masonry walls or plasterboard walls depending on the product you select. We have products made specifically for pasteboard walls so if you are fixings solely into plasterboard please make sure the product has for plasterboard walls in the title.
For shelves suitable for solid walls, as a general rule, 2 fixings can hold up to 35kg of weight including the weight of the shelf. Our plasterboard walls can hold up to 20kg between 2 fixings including the weight of the shelf. Shelf depth, wall type, condition of wall and distribution of items can affect the weigh capacity.
The amount of fixings your shelf will have will depend on the length chosen.
Shelves under 4ft will come with 2 fixing points.
Shelves 4ft-5ft will come with 3 fixing points.
Shelves 5.5ft-6ft will come with 4 fixing points.
Shelves 6.5-7.5ft will come with 5 fixing points.
Fixings are usually around 5" from each end and then any subsequent fixings evenly spaced between. (This is not guaranteed) If you need to make sure the fixings are in a suitable position to enable you to fit to timber studs, please get in touch and we will be happy to adjust fixing positions on your order.
We have 2 separate listing for each floating shelf - one suitable for solid walls and one suitable for plasterboard walls so you can choose which shelf will work for you! Our plasterboard shelves have 'for plasterboard walls' in the title. Our plasterboard shelves come with T brackets and GripIt fixings which are ideal for fixing into plasterboard walls between 9-15mm thick.
If you order a size from our website you can return your shelves to us for a full refund within 30 days. Please email us to start the returns process. Returns are organised and paid for by the customer. If you request bespoke alteration such as changing the length, this will make the shelves non-returnable.
