Dining Tables

Our collection of oak dining tables brings together traditional craftsmanship and timeless British design. Made from carefully selected, premium oak, each table celebrates the beauty of natural timber - showcasing rich grain patterns, characterful knots, and a strength that only solid wood can provide. These wooden dining tables are built to last for generations, offering durability, warmth, and authenticity whether styled in a country farmhouse or a contemporary interior.

Dining Tables

Every table we create is built using sustainably sourced, premium-grade oak, making our solid wood dining tables a superior choice to mass-produced or engineered alternatives. Unlike veneered or MDF furniture, our solid oak dining tables are crafted from full-depth hardwood, ensuring outstanding structural integrity and a surface that can be refinished and restored throughout its lifetime.

Oak is renowned for its natural durability, resistance to wear, and stunning grain structure. Over time and with everyday use, it matures beautifully, developing a richer tone and deeper character that enhances the charm of rustic dining tables and contemporary interiors alike. Whether you choose smooth-finished wood dining tables or more textured rustic industrial dining room table designs, each piece will have its own personality.

Our manufacturing standards focus on traditional joinery and hand-finishing techniques. Every rustic industrial dining table is built to order, ensuring precise sizing, stable construction, and a flawless finish. We use high-quality natural oils and hardwax coatings to protect the timber while allowing it to breathe, preserving the tactile feel of real wood.

Sustainability is central to everything we do. All our oak is responsibly sourced, and our long-lasting designs reduce waste by avoiding ‘fast furniture’. Choosing one of our live-edge dining tables or wooden dining tables means investing in a piece that will serve your family for decades.

For styling, oak pairs beautifully with metal, leather, stone, and natural fabrics, making our rustic industrial dining tables ideal for modern loft spaces as well as traditional homes. To maintain your table, occasional re-oiling will refresh the surface and protect against stains, while light sanding allows for easy refinishing should the table ever need restoring.

FAQ's

How do you clean a wooden dining table?

Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water for daily cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the finish on wooden dining tables. Wipe up spills promptly to protect the surface.

Do you need to oil an oak dining table?

Our dining tables come in a range of finishes. Our Rubio Monocoat enhances the wood's natural grain and texture, providing a warm, organic appearance without forming a thick surface layer like traditional varnishes. It gives a matt, elegant finish that highlights the wood’s character

This finish bonds at the molecular level with the wood fibers, offering strong resistance to water, stains, and daily wear - ideal for furniture like tables that get frequent use.

Small scratches or worn areas can be spot-repaired without sanding or redoing the entire piece. Just apply more of the finish where needed - convenient and cost-effective over time.

What shapes are available?

We offer rectangular, square, round, and bespoke designs across our range of dining tables, including live-edge dining tables and classic farmhouse styles. We also make ‘made-to-measure’ tables, perfect if you have tricky-sized rooms!

Which height should I choose?

Standard dining height is around 75cm. We can also create counter-height or custom-height wood dining tables to suit your seating and space.

How much space do you need around a dining table?

We recommend allowing at least 90cm of clearance around your rustic dining tables or industrial dining tables for comfortable seating and movement.

Do you need to assemble a dining table from Traditional Beams?

Most of our oak dining tables are delivered with minimal assembly required, usually just attaching the legs. Full instructions are provided for an easy setup.
