Description
You can now install our rustic oak floating shelves on plasterboard walls with our new plasterboard fixings adding character to your home!
Our rustic oak floating plasterboard shelves are suitable to install on plasterboard walls. Handcrafted from the finest quality character grade kiln-dried European oak. The edges are distressed and surfaces are textured giving the appearance of a time-worn, centuries-old piece of oak. The standard depths of our rustic oak floating plasterboard shelves are 6″ and 8″. Deeper shelves are available with our standard fixings here. The thickness varies between 30-35mm.
Price is per shelf.
We now offer the most comprehensive range of colour finishes available on the market. High-quality wood stains penetrate deep into the timber followed by a finishing coat of wax polish.
We have provided the ultimate hardware solution for fitting floating shelves into 9-15mm plasterboard walls. Each shelf is supplied with strong and adjustable concealed floating shelf supports manufactured by Hafele, along with the innovative Gripit brown plasterboard fixing. The back of the shelves come pre-drilled with a relief that slots neatly over the fixing flush with your wall.
See our full fitting instructions here.
We aim to manufacture our solid oak floating shelves to the highest possible standard. In order to minimise waste, we may manufacture floating shelves from two or more pieces of timber to create the required depth. By following strict industry standard techniques, this does not detract from the overall quality and actually results in further stability.
